Then there’s Caitlin whose sure
All the animals are good
And she’s earning a shortcut to Heaven
When she gets there she knows
If her brother’s not there
With a word she can say: He just skating!

There’s a sign on her wall
That she really believed
Cause you know that always good virtues matter
There’s a tree on her cake
Which symbolizes Life
Ooh, it made her wonder

There’s a feeling I get
When I think about her
And my spirit is crying in yearning
In my thoughts I have seen
Rings of arms around her
And I know then she is with family

And its preached every day
If we all follow Him
Then our pathway can be just like hers
And a new day will dawn
For Caitie did love everyone
And Heaven will echo with her laughter

She challenged every one
To be better, what may come
She taught Matt and she taught me so much
To simply love everyone
She pushed for peace and equality
She loved to dance and there you see…
There just never was a question

Her time to go was just then and there
A mission we know not why
Its much bigger than you and I
Dear Caitie can you hear the wind blow
And did you know
You life was such a great example

And as we are left here to finish out
Your shadow taller than ours now
There walks a Caitie we all know
Who shines white light where’er she goes
All she wants for us right now
Is to seek the Christ our Lord
The spirit will come to you at last
When we are all one in Him
She’ll be remembered by her kin

And she’s earned a shortcut to Heaven
